Our Curriculum, Module by Module
Module 1 – Achene (Seeds)
Achene is the botanical name for the seeds of roses. Rose seeds germinate within the rosehip, the fruit created by the blooming flower. They are deeply symbolic of the sometimes hidden but nonetheless powerful potential within.
In this session we will reflect on the new seeds we are planting in our lives with our intention and our activity. When we want to grow roses, we must plant rose seeds. We become clear with intention and focus, directing our energies wisely.
Module 2 – Yidam (Propagation)
When you propagate a rose plant you reproduce a new plant from a simple cutting of the parent plant. In Eastern mystery traditions, the internalisation of an enlightened divine being helps us self-actualise.
This practice of ‘sacred propagation’ awakens us to the divine presence of Our Lady within our souls. We emulate Our Lady at a spiritual level, not to lose ourselves, but to become one with her loving grace. In doing so we discover our real selves and become spiritually empowered to express our true inner potential.
Module 3 – Flower of Life (Blooming)
We contemplate what is blooming in our souls, in our hearts, in our lives.
The Flower of Life is an ancient symbol representing creative manifestation. Mother Mary is our Flower of Life in human form, allowing for divine birthing to happen through her without resistance, and with trust and confidence. Our Lady helps us recognise our soul’s clarity, confidence and creativity to do the same.
Module 4 – Soul Perfume (Pollination)
Roses have thorns of protection. Protection and defensiveness are two different things. To make our protection sacred, meaningful and conscious allows us to feel safe to open up. We feel expressive rather than exposed. And then our energies can flow and be received and shared by others for the greater good.
Allowing ourselves to be seen for the beauty of our authentic soul nature requires a deep and steady sense of self-worth, as well as courage and grace.
Module 5 – Deep Rest (Dormancy)
It takes ten times the energy to produce seeds than it does to produce flowers. In order to bloom, roses must be allowed to rest and renew themselves. The soul goes through similar phases.
We seek to become conscious of where we need to replenish, release and drop deeper within to find the powerful faith of our hearts, knowing that in letting go, new life can and will occur. Here we find the courage to continue, even through the times of not knowing.
Module 6 – Our Lady, Priestess of Venus (Blessing)
We nourish our souls with devotion to various forms of Our Lady. We consider and meditate upon Her as the light of Venus. This sublime sacred feminine radiance is the same light that awakens in matter and in the cells of our bodies, as we become more conscious.
Where is there light in our lives? How can we celebrate and shine that light with greatest confidence and brilliance? Our Lady as Venus guides us to our truths.
Module 7 – The Practice (Rosary of Venus)
Culmination of our exploration occurs with a channelled Rosary of Venus practice.
Alana shares her unique and powerful prayer pattern to invoke Our Lady as Priestess of Venus, and the Venusian energies of higher consciousness of divine love through a voice activation which empowers you to do the practice, and supports you in learning and expressing the practice as often as you wish to call the energies of Our Lady and Venusian light into your life. .
One of the concepts that was confusing me tremendously was my lack of knowledge, or perhaps misguided knowledge, of what spiritual intervention entails. I am so deeply grateful for Alana’s response, which brought me clarity and renewed faith and belief in my path and my helpers and guides, including my beloved Mother Mary.
